Just some pictures of the last couple weeks with my boys

It finally occurred to my how much my Jackson has grown since I've had him! He was such a tiny thing with little horns. Such a big boy now!

My panther is finally starting to shed again :D

It is such an addiction. I am still settling in the 3rd and already looking at others.

I am just wondering what the two big bumps are in your panther's mouth? I am not sure if that is normal or not. Does anyone else think that is abnormal? Hopefully it is nothing.

What's that little bump on the chin of your Jackson's?

Hello and thank you for the concern there, I have gone to the vet about this before, got some antibiotic and the bump is still there. It's been there for about a year now - it hasn't grown but I know it sure can look ugly in pics. He doesn't seem unhappy but I have been thinking about another vet visit for good measure for both my boys!

Oh no :( I sure hope it's nothing!

I just looked inside my panther's mouth and he does not have the bumps. I hope someone else will look. I would start a thread in the health clinic and post that pic(although it might not let you post it again) or put a link for that picture from this thread. Let some others check it out and maybe the vets will see the thread also. You could also pm ferritinmyshoes and ask her to take a look. I just have never seen bumps like that before. It could just be that I never saw one with his mouth so wide open before either!!! I don't want to alarm you and I am probably wrong but better to know for sure and then we both will have learned something!

I really appreciate the concern :) I will post something in the health section for sure. I would rather be safe than sorry with my little guy. I honestly wouldn't know but he did have his mouth open really wide LOL

Thank you again Carol

I am probably wrong and maybe the "bumps" even have a technical name! Hopefully he just had his mouth open really wide and there is nothing to worry about.

Could it be a bump from a injury or burn?
It's hard to tell, chams are normally bumpy anyway!!

I guess as long as it doesn't get bigger, or irritate him, should be fine.
Maybe it will go away after a few sheds.
