hi i have had my anole for just about 2 months now and he ate great when i fisrt got but i started giving him wax worms as a treat and thats all he would eat after that and now he wont even eat any more at all his humidity is around 50 to 60 and his basking temps are between 85 and 90

geez- another lizard that eats waxworms and refuses other insects and then has problems.

Sorry to hear it.

Every couple of years I am approached by someone who has a waxworm problem- usually the owner has a leopard gecko, but it can happen to any lizard.

Is your lizard underweight yet?

If not, I'd say let him get hungry for a few days, continue to water him, and then offer him crickets.

Repeat every couple of days. When he gets hungry he should eat, unless he has another health issue.

Once he's eating crickets wait a month or two before giving him waxworms again, and then only feed him a couple every couple of weeks as a treat so he doesn't hold out for them.

You might also try a little fruit baby food like peaches.

If he likes that you can try crested gecko food as well as continue trying to get him onto crickets.

Could your anole be a female? When Dulce my Cuban Knight Anole started laying eggs she stopped eating and my vet had me give her a couple drops of liquid calcium everyday for about a week and that did the trick.

You could also try some different feeders. Super worms are Dulce's favorite.

he still has weight on and am going to go to the store today to try to find some different feeders we dont really got much here to pick from :( and i think hes a male he has a that fan under his chin

For knight anoles, both males and females have the dewlap, but it is more pronounced in the males. If I am not mistaken, the way to tell if its a male or female is from the hemipenal bulge.

its a green anole 5" am not to sure how old he is and i will look to see if its a male or female

The size could be either. If it's full adult then it's a small female. The dewlap is bigger in males. The head is proportionally larger for its body in males (only really easy to tell if the anole is older). Dewlap is best. Have you seen it displayed? Then it's almost certainly a male.
