what should i start doing? whats the cause?

Usually due to food item scratch or cutting mouth. But also biting branches, foreign objects. Cricket and roach legs have some killer spikes on them. May heal on own, but a good reptile vet will give you specific treatment info..
 
If you can, check the gum in the area. Roll his lip back and check for a red swollen sore or cut. You can try appling Betadine surgical scrub to the gum surface. He won't like it! It may help if the infection hasn't gotten too severe.
 
my guess would be a bite from a feeder.

Id do what carlton stated.... Put the solution on a sterile qtip and clean the wound. You can purchase providone iodine at any drug store. Dilute it to a mild tea solution with bottled water in a sterile container.
