Mouth rot? Tongue infection?

I got a few decent pics of Carmie's tongue this morn, there is a yellow substance on her tongue that can be wiped off, There was a bit of blood as well. The rest of her mouth looks good. Is this considered mouth rot or would it be a tongue infection? Or are those the same thing? I'm going to call the vet ASAP tomorrow morning when they open.

I would like to find some iodine to clean her mouth with as well as some reptaid as I read that may help too.

That doesn't look good to me. The yellow stuff might be puss. It looks like it definitely her tongue though. For sure get to the vet ASAP and see what can be done. You don't want any infection to get so bad that it can't be treated and then needs to be amputated.

I don't know if iodine should be used in the mouth. I don't think reptaid would hurt, but it might not really help either. I was told by chameleons northwest to try rising the infected area of the mouth with it though (if you do this, hold her upside down so it runs out of the mouth easily, and be sure not to squirt any into her lungs.)
