Hi all, woke up this morning and noticed my panthers mouth swollen. Not sure what it is, can anybody let me know if this is serious or abou tto become a problem.

Want to take care of this before it gets worse.

i am not a vet but that looks like mouth rot. the discoloration of the gum i can see portruding, as well as the swelling are signs of mouth rot. he needs a vet visit as mouth rot will not heal on its on, it can progress quickly. he will need antibiotics from the vet asap! i recommend taking him to a good reptile vet as soon as possible.

here is a link to the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians site, you can search for a reptile vet close to you on this site http://www.arav.org/find-a-vet/#California

Took him last night to the vet, I was able to find one last night and it he did have mouth rot. He is on some medication for pain & antibiotics.

so glad to hear that you were able to get him into the vet so quickly! that will certainly make a difference in his recovery time :D

hope for a speedy and easy recovery for your boy :)

Just wanted to give a update on Titan, he has recovered very quick and he is doing great.

Alittle bothered tho, he doesn't like the camera lol.

Here's a picture of him.
