He's very timid, he tries to scare me by puffing up and gaping whenever I get close, then I'll continue moving my hand towards him then he will run away, thankfully not biting me. He doesn't let me handle him not does he take food from me unfortunately. Any suggestions?
try not feeding for a couple of days and then hand feed him dont get too close , they can shot like 6-8 inches away so hold it like 10 -12 inches away and by the leg so the cricket twitches in your hand and makes itself really noticeable, your cham will get as close as it needs to and shoot it out of your fingers, then hand feed for the first cricket everyday , i imagine that's why my panther took from my hand the first time he ate in his new enclosure same day right after being in the mail from Florida for two days
hope this helps
