Most tame species

He's very timid, he tries to scare me by puffing up and gaping whenever I get close, then I'll continue moving my hand towards him then he will run away, thankfully not biting me. He doesn't let me handle him not does he take food from me unfortunately. Any suggestions?

try not feeding for a couple of days and then hand feed him dont get too close , they can shot like 6-8 inches away so hold it like 10 -12 inches away and by the leg so the cricket twitches in your hand and makes itself really noticeable, your cham will get as close as it needs to and shoot it out of your fingers, then hand feed for the first cricket everyday , i imagine that's why my panther took from my hand the first time he ate in his new enclosure same day right after being in the mail from Florida for two days

hope this helps

I was debating on ordering a fake ficus tree, larger than the one in the cage for a free range, and maybe just run a bend a branch as a bridge. Would this be alright?
I would have to make it so he can't reach the floor though and is confined to the tree for a free range, not the entire room

I've set up an individual tree free range, and to keep the cham from climbing down to the floor and roaming, I put the tree's pot in a kiddie wading pool. The plastic sides were too tall for the cham to reach over and too smooth for him to get a grip on. You could also use a ring of plastic covered cardboard too tall for him to reach over. He soon learned it was pointless trying, and he stayed in the tree.
