morio worms

Well i tried my cham with morio worms, she got abit excited in the way she was taking them, one did something to her poss bit her, next think i know she grabs it and starts hissing at it then rips it to bits then eats it, how vicious are these things lol.

Superworms. That is part of the scientific name.

The bites dont really hurt (although I suppose they could if they got the eye or the soft mouthparts.) They do flail and thrash which annoys the poop out of my chameleons.

i was feeding her one today, and when i stopped to get another i turned back around and she was trying to get into the box, greedy girl

Amy loves Morios too! She especially loves the white newly moulted ones, she really enjoys those! Had one squirt it's guts on my hand this morning though - as she bit into it the insides shot out! Ugh!
