Morio worms staple?

My 6 month old Cham has just gone off of crickets and hasn't eaten for the last 2 days. Only thing he is interested in are mealworms and morio worms. Can I feed him these daily? Or at least until he us interested in crickets again?

I wouldnt recommend daily, no. Max 20% of his diet for morio/supers, 10% for mealworms.
He will (eventually) eat crickets (and other prey) instead of the mealworms etc if you simply dont offer the fatty larva :) He's holding out for the larva like a child prefers ice cream and candy over vegetables. Generally considered Not healthy to only eat mealworms and superworms long term. Consider adding other choices, like terrestrial isopods, butterworms, silkworms, termites, cultured blue bottles, locust etc

you can but he might hold off alot longer than you would like meaning he might not eat anything then for awhile. Mine would eat crickets for the longest time so I fed supers, silks, horns, moths. He has started to eat crickets again so I feed the supers here and there. Their fat is about 3 times as much as a cricket. Its like us, some fat in our diet is fine but we have to have some not so fat items also!!

Id say get some silkworms! If he likes his worms its more than likely he will love silk worms and they can be fed as a staple my guy loves them :D there quite good for them too :)

I feed crickets, locust, meal, wax and morio worms. Would you say to add more variety?

The cricket and locust are good. But all three of those larve are quite fatty. mealworms and supers are Okay in moderation, but I wouldnt offer waxworms at all. So if you can add the occassional other feeder type, great! if not, concentrate more on the locust and crickets.

Are silk worms good value for money? Or are they really expensive compared to crickets?

They are quite expensive but not massivly!! but off one batch that u have baught put six or so seperate to the others and get them cocooning and u will have silkmoths and they will produce silkworm eggs :D free silks :D they provide extra hydration too so bonus! There well worth the money definatly! The breeding of them is so easy ill talk u thru it if u wanted to start breeding them :)

more expensive than cheap crickets and mealworms, yes - but worth it
if your budget allows, try offering just a few, even just one a week. I think your chameleon would appreciate it
(gutload with dandelion, grape vine leaves, other green leafy things, shaved carrot, and mulberry leaves or chow)

I had that issue and I took away the worms and they will go back to crickets ,then use worms as a treat like one or two a day.

one or two a day is not "treat" status, thats staple status!
One of two a month would be a treat. One or two a week would be what I would aim for /recommend.

Yes I will defiantly be ordering some, if I take 10 aside and put them in an old cricket box and give them food will they cocoon? Do I then keep them as moths in the box until they lay eggs?

Yes they will cocoon if you keep feeding them. You can keep them in the box until they cocoon, just make sure to clean out the poop.

And how long would 250 silks last roughly?

Yeah they should last you quite a while, separate ten off like u said and keep all the others together you have to lay them on mesh like there sort of levitating so there poop falls through like this

so u can keep them separate from there poop as they have no immune system so they need to be kept clean! I clean mine out every other day, and feed,.. the ones u have separated off feed them everyday to fatten them up after 30 days they will spin there cocoons! The other ones you are feeding off they wont grow as fast so u can keep them growing slowly so u have time to feed them all off as i said feed them every other day, they will spin a cocoon that looks like this

they can take upto two weeks to emerge from there cocoons ..

They then will mate for up to 24 hours

then the female will lay her eggs, thats were i am upto so far...
