How may bugs should I feed my chameleon

I’m not sure how many bugs to feed my 5 Month old chameleon daily I usually give him 6-7 crickets a day but idk if I should give more or less (he is a panther chameleon male)

When chameleons are young they require a lot of food and nutrients for healthy growth. For a young male Furcifer pardalis 6-12 medium to adult crickets should be okay.

If you are concerned monitor your Furcifer pardalis for healthy food intake and growth. When both is happening you have got a good food feeding regime. You can adjust food amount depending on both (lack or too much).

I like to feed smaller bugs, but as long as they are smaller than the space between his eyes, size is fine. When my guy was little, I was giving him the equivalent of 15ish 1/2” crickets daily.
