More Silkmoth Videos!

I was disappointed to find that no moths had emerged when I got up this morning. Yet, half an hour later one was almost out and I could see another had moistened the end of the cocoon and was trying to escape, so out came the camera!

The first video is of a rather plump female struggling to free herself from the silk.


This second video is of another female emerging from her cocoon.

I have 11 moths, 3 mating pairs. I still have at least another 30 cocoons to hatch yet though!
