Money tree, prayer, plant, and Benjamin ficus for veiled?

I’ve come through so many recommended plant lists for veiled chameleons … and while most of the contents is pretty similar… There are some contradictions so I just wanted to make sure. Are these plants OK for a juvenile build chameleon about 9 inches long? I’m setting up the bigger enclosure and just wanted to confirm before putting him in there. Thanks in advance!

Hi! The plants you mentioned are all on the veiled tested list except for the prayer plant. I would not use the prayer plant because veileds are known as full time plant munchers

Even the prayer plant is non toxic to dogs and cats and I would feel safe using it.

If you can, find Ficus microcarpa. Commonly called Indian Laurel ficus. Lowe’s and Home Depot, Walmart carries them labeled as Ficus nitida in outdoor section.

Is there an advantage to that over Benjamin ficus?

My experience of just keeping Benjamin ficus as a houseplant drops it leaf a lot. The Ficus microcarpa leaf do not drop.
