Hello,
you can just use one of those hooks with a screw thread (i don´t know how to describe it), to let the bulb hang from the ceiling. If the bulb you mentioned is the ReptiGlo 5.0 lamp (at least that´s it´s name in germany), you must change it for a proper one like the Bright Sun Jungle Spot 50W. The ReptiGlo bulbs do not give the right kind of UVB, which has noch positive effects but ofter leads to eyeproblems.

This is the type of bulb I have, is it the right kind?

yes sire u are well on your way to raising a happy healthy cham way to go!!!!
Phew, I thought I was going crazy by not knowing my reptile bulbs. I keep many other reptiles (turtles, skinks, geckos, snakes) but this is my first cham.
well your doing good cause you have good experiences with reptiles even though chams care is way different, but thats what sites like this are for to help each other out. no one will know everything about them but we try and plus everyone has their opinions on each species of chams and thats a plus and very good thing tricks of the trade for everyone to know and to help each other out.

Hello,
concratulations, taht guy is really cute. You should increase the distance of the bulb, otherwise he might burn his feet while climbing at the fly-screen.
Guess it would be interesting to see another picture of the cage as it is right now
I don´t think it will stress him much if you take one or two pictures of the cage as you do not have to come really close. It´s fine to try to not stress your cham but don´t overdo it or he will be like "what the hell" if you´ll need to handle him more intensely one day.
Just try to not wake him up when he sleeps and not handle him if possible but you do not need to avoid entering his room.
What time is it around your place?
