MistKing Valve Control Value Misting Assembly

Anyone using a Valve Control Value Misting Assembly with their MistKing system? This particular part is available with either an "L" fitting or a "T" fitting:

Essentially, these 'valve control' nozzles allow you to enable/disable individual sprayers. I'm thinking about adding two of these nozzles to the back corners of my current setup to supplement an existing Adjustable Rain Nozzle. To be clear, the Adjustable Rain Nozzle provides enough water to maintain humidity levels as well as provide a source of drinking water, but I find it somewhat limited in terms of it's coverage. In other words, the 'rain' only falls vertically; which leaves most of the surface area in the enclosure dry. That said, I think it would be nice to have the option of periodically enabling a couple of corner-mounted sprayers to supplement the Adjustable Rain Nozzle I'm already using.

Curious to hear what the good people of this wonderful forum think. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, two days and no responses... Seems like nobody uses these valved sprayers? I'm going give them a try. I placed an order for two of them along with screen top wedges. I'll circle back to this thread with an update once everything is installed.

I saw your post originally. I like the idea, but have not used them personally. Honestly, it's MistKing, so it probably works well. It's been my experience that Marty with MistKing stands behind his equipment. Please do post a review after you have a chance to work with them.

I'm just circling back to this thread to close the loop with my feedback on the Valve Control Value Misting Assembly accessory from MistKing.

Like pretty much everything else MistKing sells, these valved sprayers work exactly as advertised... I couldn't be happier with them. I installed two of them in my Chameleon's enclosure along with a MistKing Adjustable Rain Nozzle; which I also added a Ball Valve to. I like having the flexibility to individually enable/disable each sprayer. Case in point, it allows me to run just the Adjustable Rain Nozzle when my Chameleon needs a shower. ;)

Additionally, I highly recommend using the corner wedge pieces. They simplify the installation and produce an result that looks OEM. (y)

Here are some pictures of my installation for your reference.

All the best.

N.,

Glad to hear that they are working to your liking. I've been thinking about adding an extra nozzle to the front left to facilitate just what your talking about. When my Mist-king cycles, the spray nozzle is on the right front corner and covers to the left rear corner, but the coverage is limited to the other corners in my 24x24x48. I have a dripper as well, but it just drips from the top center into the schifflera (sp?). I'll have to order one up.
