Mistking assembly stuck... HELP!

So I think it will still be functional, but the T adapter won't come off the nozzle. Yes I have squeezed the lower part and then pulled up like i did last night, but it literally is stuck. Now I cant take the washer off in order to screw it on the wedge... and it's going to be a little loose. Again, I am sure it is still functional, but for $180 I want it done right. Has anyone had this problem before?

Try twisting the tee as you gently pull on it, at the same time pushing the collar in towards the nozzle. Once you get the hang of it they will separate fairly easy.

I tried that as well. What is frustrating is that I put them on and took them off last night. Today they wont come off. This time I felt two clicks, but it looks like it isnt any further than what the website shows...

I had a little issue like that but I just solved it by pushing on the collar on the T valve and using needle nose pliers on the tubing and just pulled! It popped out after some force but the valve was fine.

I'm thinking one of the blades maybe dug into the fitting a bit when you were trying to pull it apart.

like steelhead said...press the collet firmly down (use the collet tool on tubing cutter to make sure it's pressed all around) and while pressed twist it out. They always come apart, so make sure as you're twisting you're also pulling and also pressing the collet down :) Yes you may need an extra pair of hands :)

Well of course it works when you use the tools provided! lol. I didnt realize that collet tool was not only used for cutting, but for that as well... I have everything all screwed in already, maybe someday ill re do it haha
