Hey everyone, I have been trying to read a ton on these forums to get better informed about my new Jacksons chameleon. I have him all set up, with just a few minor changes I plan on in his cage. (I posted some pics in an earlier thread and updated them yesterday) I didn't see an answer to this question anywhere I looked.
I have a Mistking that is currently going off 3 times during his day cycle. I am still fine tuning the duration of time each mist cycle runs for due to all the environmental factors of his room. I know that it is important for the cage to dry out between mistings. Does anyone also mist during the night cycle? I am currently running a fogger in the night cycle to keep the cage's humidity from getting too low since the room has an A/C unit that is constantly turning off and on and they tend to dry the air out a bit. I plan on adding a timer for the fogger as well, if anything to give it a chance to turn off for a while and not work so hard. The room keeps an ambient humidity level of 30+ % typically so it doesn't take much to bump it up to his preferred levels.
I was just wondering if it ever rains at night in your cham cages.
