I use the little Dripper by ZooMed and it works well.

I have the little dripper and it works great. You could easily make your own. They are pretty cheap though, like 10 bucks so i figure save yourself some time and just buy one. I dont think it would save you enough money to take the time to make one. IMO

But the dripper will only go for the short time the mister is on, i don´t think this is enough.

Making one is EZ. I have a fools proof one. I'll make a thread later with pix. But it works out if your have quite a few Chams.
It cost me nothing since it was made from some left over fishtank supplies. But i could literally make about 10 units for $10.
Only hard part was finding a good container. But since you will be using silicone or glue to seal the valve water tight, you can use a round surface container. The only difference with the commercial ones is they use a rubber grommet and a nut to seal the valve.
This is just for you to view an image. But Petland sells these valves in a pack of 5 for like $1.99
