I just got a new mist king system to replace my dreadful habba mister and I cant figure out the timer, it says the time is 4:30 pm and its 10:23 am here. I cant get that to change and when I set the intervals for it to make the mist king mist it never actually goes off. If anyone knows what might be wrong can you please let me know.

Hit the reset button then set it. I think its in demo mode.

First set the clock by holding down the "clock" button and then using the hour, min, and second to fix the time.
Then set the day of the week by holding the "clock" button again and hit the "week" button to set it up.

If you still have problems past this and the manual still can't help, you can PM me with your phone number and I'll walk you through it.

hey reptileman, may i ask if you bought the starter kit or the ultimate premium kit? and did u get it by itself? or did u add on any extras? such as extra nozzles or the zip drip valve? and what size your enclosure is.
because im actually thinking of getting one too. I agree with you 100% on the habba mist. that thing is trash. waste of money -_-

i got the kit that cmes with 3 nozzles and a zip drip valve from joshs frogs

Btw thanks for the help guys I think I got it working I am testing it now

I had to plug mine in for a bit first to charge the internal battery before I could get it to run properly and have not had a problem since.

My advice would be to save and buy everything from Mist King all at once, plus replacement parts too. Timers and Zip Drip aside, its all pretty cheap but shipping is pricey as it is being shipped out of Canada and having to place two orders is over 50 bucks in shipping regardless of how heavy your order is.

i've heard bad things about the habba mist too. may i ask, when it fails on you does it still somewhat work? As in, does it turn from a mist to a drip? Or is it just totally lame. I am getting one with my kit and I am not looking forward to it breaking.

It never really mists in the first place. It just kind of sputters the water out, so to answer your question, it is just totally lame.

if you are looking at getting a system, be sure to get in on the free shipping via UPS deal. I'm still about 2 weeks before I get stock...which actually works out OK because I'll be in FL for a week combining the Daytona show with a little R&R

just an FYI...mistking storefront is closed now in case you're wondering. I'm moving servers and mistking is part of a 22GB account that I'm moving. It was compressing most of the day today. I think it should be up some time tomorrow

I hear you can take it apart and kinda lube up the parts and make it work 'better'.
