missed my shipment

ughhhhh! i missed my shipment of dubias. i hope they dont die from this damn heat. im gonna try to catch them at the post office before they close. but i gotta wait for the ups truck to finish their route.

yeah i caught em at the last minute when i missed my shipment of hornworms. ups really knows how to time when i leave the house for a few minutes

I did that two weeks ago with crickets for my bearded dragon, i ordered 500 of them, they came on the Saturday but i missed the post. I had to wait till the Monday to pick them up from the sorting office. They were still alive thankfully.

my dubia shipment sat in the UPS warehouse for 5 days with no problem... i believe they would outlast a nuclear explosion!!!

Hey. I had some shipped to Jersey during one of our recent crazy heat waves, between missed deliveries and the weekend I didn't get them for a week =they were all alive still. I don't think you can kill them if you try, all that just to get eaten in the end any way

Actually, none of the kids would eat them in the end anyway. Did not matter how hungry they got they were having no part of them and I am actually relieved.

thats what im worried about. i would actually really like if they enjoyed them. although i freakin hate roaches with a pashion, thinking of them as feeders for my kiddos makes me want to be kind to them. except regular house roaches. die on till the end of days for them.

ok i take back my last post. got my dubias this morning and god did the adults look freaking hideous. ugh! three full grown males died. guess they were old already. problem is my female started gaping and ran away when i gave her a nymph. guess ill leave them in a cup till she decides to try one out.
