welcome home to marty!
this is a great forum, full of knowledge.
make sure you ask more questions than you can think of.

He doesn't look to happy? Is he ok? He shouldn't be sleeping during the day. Unless you took this pic at night, but it appears his lights are on?

Yes he does appear ok. Or at least i hope so.. The pic was taken at night. How many times a day would be normal for this baby to eat? Here's another one of the little guy

I read somewhere on here a member that had a cham that ate 29 crickets/day. At that age I believe he should be eating you out of home and wallet. Or however that saying goes :) Congrats on the new baby!

And another.. I don't know how to rotate the pic right side up on my phone but here he is just hanging around

hmmm, he doesnt eat that much at all. whenever he eats one cricket, he doesn't seem too interested in eating anymore. I get the small/medium crickets sold at petsmart in a package of 24.

I think Mcleodschams is right in feeding twice a day, more food is better than not enough. Place insects in a bowl under his perch, and hang insects on the screen sides, he will eat!:D

My 3 month Panther eats 25 to 30 1/4 inch crickets daily

25-30 crickets daily? Man that's a lot! I mist him 3-4 times a day because I'm always at work and the gf is out of the house during the day. I just ordered the mist king starter kit and should be coming next week.

I made something up from a little water bottle. Looks like its a hit!

It's a matter of tricking them. Crickets don't like to jump when perched vertically. So if you cut a water bottle open and put a mesh backing that runs up and down, they won't feel the need to jump. Jedi mind tricks! xD

Also Kameel, welcome to the forums! I have the same Exo Terra as you that I used for my veiled when he was just a baby. Just wanted to say that if you're ordering a Mist King be careful with the drainage. You might want to drill a few holes into the bottom glass panel and find a tray that will fit underneath. Otherwise the humidity will get too intense and he might develop respiratory problems.
