Markings.

Just curious when Frita will get her markings, or color, or anything. She got her long white bar on the side last month. Will it just happen over night? She is 6 months and 58 grams per her weight at her vet check up. I saw some pics of 6 month old veileds with markings--just curious.

It can vary, but I would say that from 6 months on you will usually see a bit more color each shed. I've seen some younger (usually male) that had as much color as my boy at 1 year! I normally notice the best colors after a shed and while basking in natural sunlight.

She got her stripe on her veil this week.

Not sure if you can see it. But it looks really pretty. It's her first permanent marking, really exciting.
