Wish I had some more of these.

I like that last one, looks delicious!

I wish my feeders were that organized ;/  I would only need a few shelves though.:p

I looked into mantis for feeders, but here they cost £15 for one intended as a pet! I would love to get a pet one, but as a feeder it would make a rather expensive treat for Neelix lol

How do you go from a zillion little buggers to big guys without the die off? How long does it take? I have fruit flies but those guys are quicker then the ff!

I had a ton die. I had a bunch of ooths hatch all within a couple weeks. It's just too much to take care of all at once, at least for me. If you separate them, mist them and feed them they live! Most of the time.;)

The season for ooths is pretty much over since it's warm and they have probably already hatched out. Ooths can be purchased/found from late summer until spring time (and sometimes very early summer.) If you find an area where there are mantids (parks, fields, etc.) you can collect some to feed off OR you can raise them and mate them as adults to produce your own ooths. With WC bugs, you should test regularly for parasites to make sure the chameleons are okay.

You dont have to gutload the mantid's feeders, but i imagine it would make an overall more nutritious mantid if you did.
