Male Veiled not eating

I have a male veiled I got him from a friend he is really docile and somewhat friendly even but sadly he isnt eating much. Its been around 3 or 4 days since the last time I saw him eat heavily. Yesterday he ate some of his food but barely touched the rest.

His temperatures are good and humidity is maintained. I monitor them with one thermometer/hygrometer in the cage and a infrared temp gun. I have a bowl full of reptiworms, dubia roaches and super worms right now in his cage. On his last bowl he only picked out a couple supers and left the rest untouched. His previous owner fed him crickets only

I believe he caught a glimpse of my other female veiled that might affect his behavior. How can I get him to eat as much as my female? My female will eat anything! Especially those wriggly supers!

He is getting really thin and skinny! HELP!

This are the pictures of when I first got him. At first I thought it was just the stress from moving but this is getting worrying...

Have you tried crickets roaming in the cage? Maybe it will trigger natural instincts to hunt.

Have you tried a feeding cup. I copied eats2muchrices idea and it works amazingly. My veiled male wasn't having trouble eating but I wanted to make sure he ate in the first half of the day and I'm a teacher so I leave pretty early in the morning. I load up 6-8 small and medium crickets 30 min after his lights go on he devoures them. Good luck getting your Cham to eat.

Thanks he is slowly getting his appetite back. I dont know what happened. I just bought some crickets today and currently gutloading them. I will see how he reacts to them tomorrow. Im planning to put him in a different smaller cage with less vegetation and just release crickets, supers (his favorites), repti worms and dubia roaches in it! Let him have a feeding frenzy! After dusted accordingly though :D

Right now I like feeding them from a cup with me holding the cup. It works wonders for my female, Squishy. She eats right out of my hand! I fill up the cup with in range of her diet and let her have it! Five minutes later shes done! On the other hand my male, Diego still wont shoot food from my hand. I let him see the food and hold it next to him for two minutes and leave it in the cage. He usually picks out the Supers first and contemplate for the dubia and reptiworms. I do have a cup of hornworms comming shortly! That should be a great treat for them! Hopefully help him gain a few grams too!
