Male or Female Panther

I think I posted in the wrong place so trying again.

I’m just writing for a bit of advice, I’m Uk based and bought a Panther Chameleon from a reputable reptile shop. They insisted that it was male and charged a high price for it. but I’m now having some serious doubts. I noticed on a forum that you iD’d someone else’s and was wondering if you could look at mine.
Some background. Purchased mid January and was said to be born in September possibly - but all a bit vague, recently he/she was first not very active and basking a lot , and over the last couple days very active and investing the bottom of enclosure. There is maybe 5/6 inches of soil at the bottom so wondering if maybe looking to lay eggs?

There’s definitely some salmon pinks in there but also greens and turquoise so I’m really not sure. I can’t see much of a bulge on the tail.

Some photos are from before a recent shedding where the chameleon was much greener. So this is why it’s a little confusing.

Also I’ve attached a photo of the amount of soil - so if they are female is this enough for them to lay in? I don’t want them to get egg bound as obviously we’ve grown very attached!

That should be plenty deep for her to lay eggs in. Just make sure it is moist enough to hold a tunnel without collapsing but not too wet like mud. The most important thing to do once you see that she has indeed started to dig, is give her absolute and total privacy. I would suggest covering just the bottom half of the enclosure…not to whole thing. If she is indeed just a few months old, she is too young to produce and lay eggs. However, from the pic where she’s being held, she seems to be full sized or close to it.

Would anyone be able to identify if mine is a boy or a girl? I was told it was a boy from the reptile shop
