I was told he is a Male, but I just want confirmation because alot of me thinks he could be a she. Thanks so much!

He is an ambilobe panther. :) I can hardly wait for color. He shed yesterday, and I can see hints of a greenish blue color and some red at times. I will absolutely be posting pics. I am so proud of him

I think the tail base is ambiguous. But at 4 months an ambilobe male should have at least some color on the eye turrets and gular areas. I might think differently if it wasn't ambilobe.
Totally appreciate your comments. He actually is getting color since his last shed. I see greens/blues/reds along his body at times, along with on his eyes and gular. I can totally see what you mean though as I do/did have my doubts that he is Male. Also, I don' think he is quite four months. I will be mad if he is a female as I paid alot more for male.

Give him another month then if you are starting to see colors peeking through. Ares starting going more green/ blue with shades of yellow/ red on his belly at times around the mark yours is. This was his mid/ post shed for his 4 month hatch day week pics.

Wow, he is beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Even when I got home today I swear he has more color.

Your little guy also has a slightly larger rostral process than a female would at that age. I agree, male. I do see some bar color coming in.
I could not agree more! When I look at his face, I just don't see female. It' just the tail and the lack of color that was getting me, but when I see other females, I realize his tail is alot thicker.

It will start coming quick lol. This first was 3 months and 2 days. The second was 7 days later. With him there was a very distinguishable difference as the weeks of third month went by on how much he colored up. Though he looks really gray in the pics, he wasn't gray to the naked eye at the time though. He was the baby brown with the greenish blue coming in.
