so a translucent chameleon has a mutation causing a lack of pigment which makes certain areas appear white or pink, I have a high translucent myself. There are low and high translucents low have less white patches while white have more. This is just the basic explanation, if you want to know more just google it or ask me.
 
Yes the shed looks built up into a bracelet of sorts. You are very knowledgeable in the area of pigment mutations, it is a fun field when it comes to snakes however I'm still not sure why breeders have targeted this mutation in chameleons as they are already more on the flimsy side I feel that breeding in any mutation could further weaken their amune systems or cause blindness at early ages. The black piebald trans looks pretty cool tho.
