Hello all! I'm planning a cycle trip to Madagascar this September with a friend of mine. We are going to fly into the capital (Tana) and then cycle east to the coast and then north to the tip of the island before heading down to Nosy Be to fly home. We have a rough plan to do the 1500km or so over 6 weeks which (hopefully) will be around 3weeks on the bikes (70km /day) and 3 weeks exploring the forests along the way. Everything will have to be strapped to the bikes so we will be traveling light and camping out.
I was wondering if any of the people who have been to that side of the island have any spots we should definitely visit? I especially want to explore some of the islands in the North East. Any recommendations will be much appreciated.
