I am so happy , and wanted to tell people who may be in the same position to not give up hope . I lost my veiled Chameleon over 6 weeks ago when I had forgot to close a window and thought he was gone forever as we have a very large oak tree in our garden and the surroundings are very woody . After giving up all hope we had some news that he was found in the village cafe car park 1/4 mile away . He was a bit skinny and his tail was a bit bartered from the high winds but he recognised me straight away .
1 week later we have bought him a bigger vivarian and he is back to great health . I had read somewhere that someone else’s went missing and they were found 6 months after !!! It’s amazing these beautiful creatures can survive and I’m so happy . So is our cocker spaniel pup
