Build out the cage and test all of your levels for a week. This is going to tell you what needs modification. I just want to stress the importance of buying from a breeder with excellent reputation. You may pay a bit more, but it is more than the animal that you are paying for. A breeder such as Kammerflage https://chameleonsonly.com/ has been putting much love and care into the animals that they pair and produce for many years, and will put much love and care into ensuring that you are a satisfied customer who will enjoy your beautiful and healthy animal for many years. Unlike some, they will still be there for you if needed after they get paid. I use Kammerflage as an example because not only are they excellent and have stunning chameleons, but they are located in California. The other breeders who sponsor the forum are just as excellent and have earned their wonderful reputations as well, but your animal may have to be shipped to you (which is really not as horrible as it sounds).
