What's up everybody!!! I was in a pet shop today looking around n come a cross what was labeled a blue bar Cham. close to a year old he tells me I think it's close. It's clearly a red bar. So I asked him why there selling it as blue. He tells me both parents r blue bar. Now I have no clue cause I haven't breed chams but if two blue bar parents mate on average how many would be red bar to blue out of the clutch??? This guy told me every egg was red bar whitch I find hard to believe and if that was the case would it b because there breed out??? It's clearly false advertisement. And should pet shops b pulling the wool over people's eyes??

I don't think it would be labeled at as a blue bar ambilobe anyway if it showed red bars. It might be labeled something like red bar ambilobe heterogeneous blue bar ambilobe. I think that's how it's written at least.

It was labeled blue bar ambilobe and was a red bar he admitted they were red but the hole clutch was red bar from blue bar parents he claimed is that possible??

Do all breeders sell red bars as blues??? Where I'm from blue bar ambilobe demand more cash red r more common.

I don't lie here is my red bar. They're sneaky sometimes

The only reason why I'm asking is this is the second pet shop that I've found selling red bars as blue so I'm trying to figure out weather it's the breeders being shady to max on there dollars or pet shop trying to max there's

Most of the time they screw up their lines because of so much breeding.

He's a good-looking boy though love that natural color look

So if 2 blue bar chams mate and both parents have a recessive gene to make a red bar cham there's only a 1 in 4 chance that the baby will be a red bar.

Same with two brown eyed parents each having a [recessive] blue eye gene. One out 4 chance the kid gets blue eyes, excluding the milkman.

Just wondering if you know what kind of cross he is. I lost his paperwork I bought them from a friend. It's just a weird looking color for a tamatave . I think he was from canvas

He looks like he may be part Sambava, but I'm not an indentifying expert. Canvas may have some old files to help you.

Is weird cuz that's his day colors. At night he's green and blue with a little red on bottom. But he's all too aggressive when I get near him. so he turns that color.:p so that's the only color you see him as.
