got home from work and lucky was loungin on his favorite stick all lazy like... then i noticed that his hibiscus flower had a familiar chunk missing out of it... here is the evidence.

I live in Colorado and its winter.... They dont have them... They are even hard to find in the summer time...

its just the pic. lights on and first mist about to get some crickies and he looks fine. i read that last night and freaked out thinking he is dehydrated, and didnt want to disturb his sleep. he is fine tho. thanks for concern.

I have found Hibiscus in a Thompson's Garden centre in the houseplant section. I think they are out of season in the UK right now though. They are usually available in the summer. Try a local garden centre rather than somewhere like B&Q - I've never seen any in there.

How funny, especially because my veiled is also called Lucky and eats flowers. He ruined my orchids once and also had this very expensive plant with gorgeous purple/pink flowers on it. I put the in his cage, turned around, turned back and gone were the flowers! Ripped of the whole plant and was chewing on them. Hahaha, quess he better liked another color.
