Locusts

I have wondered this too... what would be easier to keep for 3 chams ? I have dubias and crickets by the hundreds already... grasshoppers or mantis?

I swore that I wouldn't attempt mantis again, but I broke down the other day and picked up another ooth at a local nursery. They are a pain in the arse, but Imma succeed this time!! ;)

Awww man that's gonna be hard...imma be there all dang day:eek:...imma look like a weirdo..:rolleyes:..so there's no webb sites?hey i tryed praying mantis and they all died..:(...is there a trick or something to keeping them alive when the hatch?

Separate as many as you can and prepare to feed, feed, feed! I did this and still lost 90% of them... :mad: :eek:
 
I had them separated in tall deli cups. About 20 per cup... :(

dang isnt that a littke too small?what are you going to keep them in this time...i also want to go buy some more to a local nursery...but i wanna keep them alive...

I had them in 32oz deli cups. I believed those to be large enough for baby mantis. They were approx 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Very small.
