Locale?

Could anyone tell me the locale of this lil' dude? My friend has a female Ambilobe and I want to make sure (when he's ready) that they'll have a pure bloodline. Also, any insight on his morph? Thanks in advance!!

He looks very nice, but unless you have sire information from a breeder no one can tell you what locale you have.

It might look like a certain locale, but you can't be for certain.

You can try contacting who you got him from, but if it's from a petshop I honestly would not trust what they say. Most don't really know male from female let alone locale.

I would suggest always buying from a breeder.

I agree with the above, there is no way to tell and crosses are becoming more popular these days so who knows what you have unless you get verification from who produced it.

My Husband got him at a reptile show. He was docketed as an Ambilobe. I've been researching everywhere, but I'm having difficulty finding any other Ambilobe juveniles with his coloration... I'm aware that every chameleon is different, but I literally can't find any photos at least a bit similar to his morph...

Apparently his Sire was a WC Ambilobe but I have no info on the Dam. I'm all about interracial hybrids, but my friend really wants a pure clutch. This little guy is soo gorgeous, but if I don't know for sure, sadly, she doesn't want my stud-muffin :(

Her loss. Some of us aprreciate a good cross. It may matter for future resales, but not to someone interested in just keeping a chameleon.
