Liquid Calcium Supplement

I haven't been able to find a pure calcium powder available for my cham in my area. Today I found a calcium spray. The directions say:
Spray on live feeders, wait for 15 minutes to allow to dry, feed to reptile.
It is calcium 1700 ppm; though I have no clue what that means.
I have attached a picture of the back of the bottle to show you guys.
Please tell me if its a good alternitive to calcium dusting daily.
THANKS. :D

IF this doesn't work for him/isn't good for him... Does anyone know an alternative?
I've heard to use a birds Cuttlebone, but i'm worried about that too.
Please help!

"Plain" calcium does exist outside the herp isle of pet shops. Cage bird calcium mineral blocks can be grated with a file to a fine powder and I bet you can get these at most pet shops. Check the new Repashy products discussed on the forum too. You may not even have to dust much at all.

Why are you worried about cuttlebone? It's a natural source of calcium. You'd just have to file it to make a powder.

I'm worried about it because alot of it is flavored or includes added calcium, which doesn't make it sound like a natural source...?
I'm sorry guys, im just new at this & worried...

I don't have alot of sources around me, and can't really order products often. Sorry...
I'll try out the mineral blocks. Just wanted to see what you guys thought of the new product...
