What would be the ideal UVB strength for a 4 week old veiled? And what should the basking lamp range be?

For any chameleon, I recommend using 5.0 UVB linear tubes.

Yup the 5.0 is the run of the mill. It depends on a few different things as far as placement goes...my enclosure is huge so I run the basking light if needed on the top, the UVB off to the side about a foot and some change down. But I do use a small outdoor enclosure with a small umbrella plant in it for the really nice days, my jackson really loves the natual sun, he really shows off his coloring!
