Light at night

Hi, I was wondering what's the light condition should be like at night for ambilobe panther cham? The temp at my place now is around 8 to -1 celcius,

I have the ceramic heat emitter (150W), a red night bulb, which one should I use?

Yes, if it's getting down to -1 then I would. For me, about 10C is my limit on how cold I feel comfortable leaving them. But use the heat emitter, you want the heat but not the light. Chameleons can see red so while the red light works on other reptiles, chameleons can tell there is a light on and not sleep.

My personal opinion, I do not like ceramic heat emiters because they do
not work well heating things placed several inches below.
Most of the heat rises above, so it's wasted energy.
They do very well at heating the air directly above them!!

I would rather recommend a room space heater with built-in thermostate.

Measure your room space, and buy one for that size of room.

Set the thermostate to a good night temp of 60F, and it will only go off
when the room temp drops below that.
It will increase your electric bill some, not much, but this way, you are not
wasting heat energy.
