My personal opinion, I do not like ceramic heat emiters because they do
not work well heating things placed several inches below.
Most of the heat rises above, so it's wasted energy.
They do very well at heating the air directly above them!!
I would rather recommend a room space heater with built-in thermostate.
Measure your room space, and buy one for that size of room.
Set the thermostate to a good night temp of 60F, and it will only go off
when the room temp drops below that.
It will increase your electric bill some, not much, but this way, you are not
wasting heat energy.
