leg shedding question.

My female blue bar ambilobe 4 month old, has some trouble with one specific area during a shed. Her back left leg sheds kinda funny, just above her "knee" the skin will roll down her leg to almost the top of her foot. It looks like shes wearing a wrist band. It will stay that way for over a week, even though she is getting misted plenty. I keep an eye on it and was worried at first that since it was several layers thick and might be tight that it may cutoff circulation to her foot causing issues. I removed her from the cage and further inspected it, and found it not to be tight at all. I could see a bit of it that appeared to be a loose end hanging off. It is not attached to her new layer of skin whatsoever. It started to unroll around her leg, and very very gently I went around her leg unraveling it. It was almost 1/2" in length and 1/16" wide. On that little leg that was pretty long. It came off and she was back in her cage in 2 minutes. It has happened the last 3 sheds and only on that leg. It looks exactly like when you put on a tall sock and starting at the top roll the sock down and it looks like a donut around your ankle. I would in no way attemp to remove it if I thought it may be attached to her skin, its just dead skin. I would stay on for weeks if I left it alone. Does this happen to anyone else?
