Current Problem - I left to go on vacation for three days. I had a friend come over and take care of my cham. I trust her and she works with tons of reptiles daily at her job. When I got back today my cham was dark brown/ black. I fed him right away and he ate as usual but the color didnt change at all. he has always been a happy boy, very light green colors almost all the time. I don't get it. is it the uv bulb?

You asked what the problem was and I'm telling you ... its way too hot. Especially him being so young. Also how are you gauging your humidity? I have a hard time believing in a screen cage full of fake plants that you get 50%. Especially when you only mist twice a day. Its not about how long you spray its how many times. Should spray 4-5 times a day. Leave time to dry in between sprays.

thanks.
I just put him in the sun though and he turned green and angled his body so he would get more sun.

If you haven't seen him drink you can tell if his poop has a white piece at the end. Also add some live plants so he can munch on them if needed for dehydration
