I built this cage out of white pine, window screen, screen spline and tile board.

Dude awesome job! Did you cut the grooves in the pine to set the screen and spline in it like the aluminum framing?

Yes I used a router with an 1/8" bit. Worked great and was alot easier than using screen frame. the two sides and back are one piece so alot less waste.
