Laying bin

So my chameleons been looking big recently, the breeders we got her from said she was around 6 months when we got her which would make her around 9 months right now, I’m not sure whether she’s going to lay eggs (infertile) or whether she’s just quite fat (she’s very greedy) I’ve put a laying bin in her viv just incase and so far she’s not bothered with it, she’s been down to have a nosey and drink off the plants in it but no digging or anything, should I leave the laying bin in all the time? Or should I take it out and only put it in when she’s possibly ready to lay eggs? And any tips on when to know she’s ready to lay eggs would be greatly appreciated!
