Well pumpkin and Kermit are going at it again on the second day. I am going to continue to put them together for 5 days or until she rejects him. So far she has been very accommodating. I thought I would shoot some quick picks. I have witnessed them together twice now on two consecutive days. She will show receptive colors but as soon as I try to take a picture she turns back to her receptive colors.

Anyway enjoy the pictures.

Ryan,
She is an absolutely stunning female! Congrats. Is this your first time breeding them? Do you have any pics of her by herself? Wait til she adopts gravid colors-they are so beautiful to see in person :-D

Man, that female is gorgeous. But, one thing has me confused. Do you have two Pumpkins?

I'm really not trying to get down on you Ryan but weren't these the ones born mid-July 2008? (see this link https://www.chameleonforums.com/cb-carpet-chameleons-15939/index2.html) That makes the pair about 3.5 months old now. I know the lateralis lateralis mature faster than some species, but is that not a little young to be attempting breeding?

Thats an argument for someone with a lot more experience than me needs to make. Maybe on another post? I am definetly not qualified.

I took into consideration Size weight , Age and Receptiveness and opinions of others with experience. Let me specify not on this forum and on this forum.

Not everyone agreed with one another but I do feel I made an educated decision.
