Well I commented earlier about taking the easy way out with a hutch but I have ran into the dimensions not being right or finding something we like. Unfortunately even if I wanted to try to make something like this I don’t have the tools needed lol. Excellent build I really like what your doing and can’t wait to see the complete finished product. I read earlier about a controller and was thinking you could possibly go with a Apex Jr. for a fair price. Anyway back to looking for something furniture grade for 3! I need you in Milwaukee haha

This was a great DIY build to watch happen. Thanks for posting! The enclosure or enclosures looks great and I look forward to pictures of this enclosure with chameleons inside them!

As Haydenm 14 said convection.
If that proves to be inadequate I can easily add a few ball bearing electronics fans. I have been thinking of doing this anyway. I will wire them to a temperature sensor. Similar to an aquarium controller in respects to overtemp will cause them to come on.

Well the Hibiscus are potted. Now to get the spider plants and pothos planted.

Removed the clamps from the first spider plant pot. Wrapped the second spider plant pot in cork bark. Cut the backs for the pothos planters and epoxied them on. Tomorrow I will trim the top of the first spider plant pot and mount the hanging brackets to the pothos planters. Then it’s on to plumbing the watering system.

I love the idea of the Marine paint. I am going to try this, can you please explain how you do it? What paint I will need, I seen you said you put 4 coats but one was white, was that a primer? I have a wood enclosure I am working on and have been having issues with drain options, this looks like it could really be a solution. I would love to try it I just want to make sure I do it correct. Any help would be great. What a wonderful job!
