Kinyongia tenuis hatchling ~ From imported mother who died

This baby just hatched either yesterday or today. I am not sure. It is from a female I purchased that arrived in horrible condition. She died after a few days in my care. She was gravid so I cut the two eggs she was holding out of her and incubated them. One egg went bad after a couple of months.

This is the mom as I was removing the eggs.

Excellent work Ryan. Mom didn't look big enough to every have laid those eggs, glad you could save a least one baby.:)

Beautiful!!!!! Hopefully it is a male!!! We could use quite a few of those since there are usually none imported:)

Seems like a short incubation? DETAILS!!!!

Congrats!!! This is one species I would love to see come out of the egg, personally!!!

Sheeesh!!! No one else gives a hoot:confused:

Ill say it again!!! Congrats!!! I cant stop looking at the little fella:D

I just saw this now. I've been away from CF so much.

That's exciting news Ryan. Very sweet looking baby you have there. I wish you the best with raising it. :)
