kepler doesn't like superworms

At what age should one start offering superworms? I've been trying with my ~5 month old amilobe and he refuses to eat them. I know he's hungry because as soon as I put crickets in there he goes nuts. I'd like to offer him a varied diet, and I hate wasting money on these damned worms.

Maybe they're too big and intimidate him?

That is about the age my guys started eating them. Sometimes it takes them some time to take to them.
