Yes .... I did end up getting a pair of them but they didn't last long. I have a thread here .....
https://www.chameleonforums.com/new-pygmy-chameleons-10663/ ... however I can't seem to edit my old posts to fix the pics.
The female only lived for about a month and the male for several months. My apartment was getting far too hot for the male and I was putting a frozen 2L water bottle in the enclosure twice a day. One evening I was gone a bit longer and came home and he was no longer alive.
I would like to get more at some point but will likely wait until I have better temperature control. Actually .... I got an A/C unit last summer and will likely be getting another this summer. However now I don't really have room for any more chams at the moment.
I still have 4 Veiled Chameleons but am getting more into GECKOS. As well as the chameleons I have 4 adult Crested Geckos with many babies and eggs, 2 White Line Geckos with several babies and eggs, 4 African Banded Velvet Geckos, 4 Gold Dust Day Geckos, 2 Micro Geckos, a pair of Fire Skinks, a Tangerine Honduran Milk Snake, a Snow Corn Snake. 4 Clown Tree Frogs and 4 Fish Tanks. My son has a Crested Gecko, Hedgehog and 7 Tarantulas in his room.
So I'm on a few of the gecko forums but unfortunately don't have much extra time for the Chameleon, Fish and Tarantula forums. I also don't have a computer at my disposal at work any more which impacts the amount of time that I can communicate with the forums.
I'm still definitely interested in several of the Pygmy Chams especially since they require much less space than the larger species. However my place is very FULL of critters and I'm trying to stick with the ones that don't take up as much space!!
Too many interests ... not enough time, money or space!! LOL
