Keeping one eye closed

Hello

My male is closing his right eye. His face is currently is shedding so I am expecting that to be the cause, but I just wanna make sure.

It does not look like there is any debris caught anywhere.

Husbandry:
Outdoor kept on 2x2x4
No D3 supps, calcium twice a week, Multivitamin once a month.
Feed dubias, crickets, hornworms, super worms, and silks usually.

He opened his eyes while I took the photo.

Is he swollen between his front legs?

it looks like he does have swelling between his front legs but could be the angle of the picture or the way he’s sitting. Is he kept outside year round? What state do you live in?
