Keeping a Chameleon Warm?

Our heating bulb broke (thanks a lot little brother...) and we won't be able to get a new one until tomorrow. Our house is kinda chilly and she's already starting to get cold. What should we do? Should we put a heating pad in/on top of the cage? Cover the cage? She is a 4-5 month old veiled chameleon living in a 4 foot tall screen cage.

Ok. It gets to about 70F at night. Will it hurt her to have a heating pad above the cage to at least hear her a little? She seems pretty misrible (she's turning dark green and kinda restless)

70 is plenty warm. A temp drop at night is good for your cham so you don't have to worry about warming her at night. Like @Lathis said unless it get to 55 degrees then don't worry.

Have you been using a heat source during the night? It's actually good for their health to have a 10 degree drop in temperature at night when all of their lights are off. Why you don't have to have a 10 degree temperature drop, it definitely is beneficial.

What are you daytime cage temps?
