K. xenorhina abscess?

I guess I should have been a bit more alarmed when my K. xenorhina was fairly calm after his arrival, and not overly anxious around me while in the room. I've been leaving him alone for the most part, but today noticed swelling and discoloration at the back of his top left jaw. I did not see any signs of it upon arrival, but maybe stress has compromised his immune system or it was on its way to starting. It appears to be an abscess, though I thought I'd ask for a second opinion and include some photos. It was hard to get a clear shot of it, but the swelled area is whitish. It may not look too severe, but compared to his right side, it is pretty swollen. I suppose it could it be from a bite as well.

Any info is appreciated. He has not shown any interest in crickets, and I am fresh out of flies, so he has not eaten for about 2 days (more are on the way). Thanks
