also for substrate should i use paper towels or ....um...lol

Nothing unless you want to use paper towels. They do not need substrate. I use garbage bags to help with the water issue (misting so it doesnt soak into carpet)

I was like, Uh dude..you are a year behind!

HAHAHAHA, Joe

in the US we do our dates Month/Day/Year . She didn't mean you are actually a year behind.

1/08 to us is Jan 2008 , not Aug 1 like your birthday. We are backwards in the US. we would write Aug 8 as 8/1

the cage you have is probably fine. Alot of people outside of the US use glass/wood enclosures. You do need to make sure that the teperature doesnt get to high and that it gets ventilated pretty well.

How big is the cage? The recomended size for a full grown panther is 2x2x4 feet. (i think converted into cm's its like 60.5x 60.5 x 121 cms

If the top is glass the UV light will need to be inside the cage .

my cage with all of the leavs and twigs crossed, the mister on (NOT A WATERFALL) a little dripper system(any ideas), crickets hopping around and the chameleon having a feast whith paper towels aas flooring. (but what about drainage?!?!?)

o yeh the cage is much taller than wide around those mesurements and the top is not glass...

The trick is to be sure nothing is blocking the light from the bulb. No glass or plastic. If the top is screen it can sit on the screen but the light needs to be unfiltered.

but the top of my cage is wood :(

There lies a problem. Can you cut a hole out to allow the light to get through..cover it with screen perhaps? Your cham NEEDS uvb and heat, no exceptions.

ok madman joe you are goin to need to swap out the wood top for screen this is for light and to add some ventalation i would also put a screen vent on each of the wood sides

I agree..and make sure its treated wood or it will mildew.. But You are going ot need some air flow through there.. Do you have the cage already and if so, post pics...or if you can find something that resembles it?
