just some ?'s about my new buddy

Ok well Ive had my lil veiled buddy for 4 days now.Hes eatting about 6-7 pinheads a day.He already looks bigger... He has been shedding so I've kept his humidity up as ive read its best for shedding and it seemed he finished with his face today.Yet he was barely in the baskin light at all today.Its around 83-85 at all times except when misting.Is he ok? I havent held him yet or tryed getting into the enclosure except for feedings. He also is bright neon green in the a.m. and thru out the day hes a dark brown.There not alot of traffic in this room except for me coming in and seeing if crickets are gone or to mist.Just seeing if hes ok? Also i bought a digital temp/hum gauge from wal-mart and its already broken could of it been from moisture? i wouldnt think so but.thanks

he sounds good, just adjusting in his new home, maybe post a pic of your enclosure he is in rightnow for the forums to offer any suggestions(if needed). He should eat more than just 7 pinheads though, like maybe 10-15 pinheads a day, like 7 in the morning and 7 in the mid day to spread it out. but it could be he is still adjusting and would not worry much. Just enjoy it and get to know your chams behavior. i can assure your cham is your new TV to watch all day

I agree with Ace and want to add that he should be able to eat large pinheads or 1/4 inch crickets.

i will post updated cage pic for suggestions any and all are glady accepted.Ok
wasnt sure if anything bigger would be to much but im going to move him up them and yes i will also move it to 14 or so a day.

noobie error i guess i ddint really relize what size pin-heads were they are 1/4in crickets at 6-7 a day
